A Great Website for Boston Sports

Hello everyone! It's hard to believe it is mid-June already, the Celtics are in the NBA finals at game 6, and the Red Sox are (somewhat) cruising along this month. Summer classes at BU are keeping me extremely busy, but I wanted to write a post and let readers know a little bit about a favorite sports media website of mine.

I want to bring to attention Bruce Allen's website Boston Sports Media Watch. If any of you following my blog are big Boston sports dorks like me, this website is a must to check out. Bruce Allen lays out the major sports stories of the day, linking to their sites and summarizing the content. It is basically a one-stop shop to check out relevant links and information that takes time to find unless you utilize Google Reader or RSS feeds. He has great drop-down menus on the side of the website that links to daily newspapers, blogs, teams, and has a live feed that posts reader comments. It doesn't lean one way or the other in terms of favoring specific outlets, rather, it gives all relevant options and let's the reader decide for theirselves where to navigate.

It is also a great way to see how journalists and bloggers alike view local sports teams, including the Sox, on not only the games they play, but their in-season transactions, marketing efforts, work in the community, etc. Check it out and let me know what you think!
